I started this company with a clear idea: specialized work should be done with care, precision, and personal accountability. Instead of trying to be everything to everyone, I chose to focus on one craft—professional caulking and joint sealing—and do it to a higher standard.
I’m Matt, the owner and craftsman behind Creative Solutions LI.

When you hire Creative Solutions LI, you’re working directly with me. I’m the person who answers your questions, reviews your project, recommends the right solution, and makes sure the finished work is clean, consistent, and built to last.
I understand that the smallest details can change the appearance of an entire space. A clean joint, the right color match, and a properly finished line may seem minor, but they make a major difference. That attention to detail is what I bring to every kitchen, bathroom, window, doorway, patio, stone surface, and commercial project.
Creative Solutions LI is more than a service company with my name behind it. It reflects how I work: communicate clearly, respect the property, take pride in the process, and stand behind the final result.
I’m not sending someone else to represent my standards. I’m the one bringing them to your project.
My career in waterproofing and specialty caulking began before I joined the union. I worked for non-union commercial and residential waterproofing companies as a foreman who was responsible for running crews, coordinating job-site logistics, managing materials and schedules, and helping projects move efficiently from preparation through completion.
That experience gave me more than technical knowledge. It taught me how to lead a team, communicate with contractors and property owners, solve problems in the field, and manage the many details required to complete a project correctly and on schedule.
I later joined Stone Setters Local 1, where I have worked as a specialty caulker alongside highly skilled stone setters and other union tradespeople. Through this work, I have contributed to major commercial, public, and landmark projects throughout New York, including:

Madison Square Garden, including the stonework at the grand entrance and Penn Plaza
Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge
Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts

Working on projects of this scale has reinforced that professional caulking and waterproofing involve much more than simply filling a joint. The work requires proper preparation, knowledge of different building materials, correct sealant selection, an understanding of movement and adhesion, precise color matching, and clean, consistent finishing.
I founded Creative Solutions LI to bring that same level of field experience, project management, and union craftsmanship directly to residential and commercial customers throughout Long Island.
When you hire Creative Solutions LI, you work directly with me. I personally review the project, recommend the appropriate solution, manage the details, and make sure the completed work meets the standard my name and reputation are built on.
